are you a mechanic? if so you would know what effect synthetic oils have on the cylinder walls.

Secondly the car had mineral based oil when i purchased, therefore you would understand that you cannot change to a synthetic as it can cause the motor to burn oil. Yes synthetic oils have more thermal resistance and dont need to be changed as much, but how long do you keep your oil in? And XLD is not $12 - it may be cheaper than other oils, but expensive is always not the most effective for the purpose.

please PM me if you have any more comments. It looks like you already have an r32 and not looking to buy one.

adam: no worries i havent really been pushing the sale, its been in autotrader, quokka and s/times once each. The aircon compressor finally came on tuesday, so i will do this on the weekend if i get the time
