Car Alarm Troubles

hey guys,

i was about to install just a standard car alarm and was trying to figure out the wires b4 i start, off the top of my head, there was 5 main wires.

constant, earth, on, key etc etc etc, but when i cut the constant one, why does my car still start??

is there another constant?

any help?? cheers

Why would you want to cut the constant 12V wire anyway?

Step away from the car,, if your asking these questions

1.Your in trouble already and will burn the car up or something else in the process

2. a thief asking for help to rip one off

3. see answer 1 again

4 call a shop and pay the money to do it right the first time,,,, the last thing you want is your car shitting itself on a dark rainy night cause its wired wrong.
