running too rich HELP???

all of a sudden today my bros 180sx sr20det started too run rich and a tiny bit smokey (real black smoke) it was running fine yesterday still got all its power and boost levels havent droped i thought the o2 senser had packed up can anyone help

my car did the same thing, was okay then suddenly it was just belting out black smoke. i changed my afm and its perfect again.

also you can test the os sensor. with a multi meter. i cant rememer exactly how thou. if you get stuck and cant find out to pm me. with the afm. get a multi meter, find the signal out wire and check the voltage. on idle or off it should be arround .5 volt i think. but not totally sure. when mine was running shit the afm was reading 2.5 volts.

O2 sensor really doesn't work under high load conditions. So save your money replacing it.

its going on the diognostics tomorrow but im bretty sure its the o2 sensor dont no if running optimax with octain booster evry tank helps much
