Gts-4 N/a To Rb26 Diffs

Hey guys I'm soon to get off my P's in July next year, and have had all the bodywork on my car done, was looking at dropping a RB26DETT to finish off the show engine bay for the car for autosalon.

Currently I've got:

1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-4, so already has awd setup

Just wondering if I dropped the RB26 into it, would the standard diffs be alright for just general street use or would I need to get GTR diffs to hold it.

Standard will be fine.

The big difference will be your gearing.

GTS4's have shorter 1st-4rd gears (only by a couple of teeth)

GTS4's also have shorter diff ratios.

Im going down this track in the next couple of months/weeks so i'll let u know how the standard one holds up.

I'll be using a 6sp getrag tho with the stock rear diff. If it blows ive got a bnr34 rear end tho

cool thanks the info guys...will keep an eye out for how yours turns out as i wont be doing this until next year, still waiting on the car to come out of the panelshop atm
