Cam Gears Sold

OSG Clutch is no good to sell (opened up and found clutch packs with not much left in them).

Rods and pistons sold pending payment

Just checked today that turbo shafts have slight play in them so they are no good to re-use. I don't want to sell worn out stuff to anyone.

They will need a rebuild so throw any offer for them.

Sorry a bit off topic, but could I ask what boost level you were running through the turbos? I have the same turbos, which I have purchased new and am surpised that they had shaft play just after 5000km. Or is it normal to develop a bit of play after installation?

They were tuned for 24PSI. But sometimes it would peak to 27PSI!

I called the Garrett Disty before I tuned to ask what is the highest boost to run through. They told me 12PSI!!

So I thought, how was I suppose to extract the sort of power I was running at 12PSI?

So I gave the go ahead to tune to the max efficiency range the turbos were able to produce, which was 24PSI (on 98 fuel).

I honestly bought them brand new and really only did around 5000kms at 24PSI. That was enough to cause shaft play.

Which is why of course I ended up selling them off for next to nothing.

What is the point of a turbo that can't handle that much boost for an extended period?

Not sure if I missing something here.

12PSI sounds like the guy you spoke to didn't know what he was on about. You could probably generate just as much power with standard GTR turbos at 1 bar than you could with2560's at 12 PSI.lol.

Yeah theres a lot of people using these turbos with decent boost. I wonder what they would look like if removed and inspected. I'll have to see what happens with mine when they go on.

I'll speak to you after christmas about the trust pipes if you still have them. Negotiable at all?

Nah he wasn't a rep becuase I asked to speak to tech support. So I am sure they are following tech manual guidelines.

Yeah heaps of people have pushed over 500RWHP (with the right setup) so of course these are going to be a cheap performance alternative to the HKS, GReddys, etc......

I'll be hanging onto the Trust pipes as they are so rare and I don't want to spend money again to get them later..

you don't wanna sell your brakes ?

Thanks for your comment.

You are in a line of about 10 people that want to buy my brakes. The thing is, if I sell them it won't be enough $$$ to ever buy them again so there is not point to sell.

I intend to use my car for track duties next year so I need to keep them.
