S1 Passenger Wing Mirror Demist

As standard the Series 1 has heated wing mirror elements on both side but only the drivers side is connected. Has anyone managed to connect the drivers side to the same circuit?

So far I've managed to confirm that it does work and have run wires into the cabin. I connected one wire to chassis ground and the other to what I thought was the same wire from the drivers side. The result is that it's on full time.

Mine work on both sides. They come on when I turn on the rear window demister so I guess that's what you should connect to.

Thanks for the reply. The guys here in the UK that have had the door cards off say there is an open connector on the passenger side. Maybe yours was changed before you got it as it seems to be standard to have it not connected. I had planned to connect to the drivers side wire when it came into the car but it's not much fun being upside sorting through a loom. I'll have another go at taking the supply from the back of the rear demister switch.
