Hi All,

I am planning on heading up to Top Gear for my bday in Feb and just thought I would throw the idea out there of people cruising up on the saturday (13th feb) and chilling in Sydney, having dinner somewhere and than all heading to Top Gear, staying overnight and heading back some time on the sunday...

You will need to book your own tickets but the rest we could arrange as a group...

Mercure at Parramatta last year was fantastic, reasonably priced, close to the location and good facilities. Hooters across the road and ran into Dick Johnson in the hotel! Show was a bit of a disappointment but we sure had a fun weekend.

I just came back from the V8's and can reccomend Matnra Parrapatta, uber close to westfields and the train station too.

Unfortunatly I will be at Lake Crackenback Resort that weekend getting wasted and fishing for trouts...

Whenever we go to events there we stay at the Mercure and it's pretty good. There's a supermarket across the road along with 24 hour maccas for when you stumble home late! And of course as was already mentioned HOOTERS!!! Haha.

I found Top Gear to be a total waste of money, won't be going to this one.

yeah i'll be moving to act in January and already have tickets for the show on the 13th of feb so making the trip with someone would be pretty awesome driving alone sucks.... done a 13hour trip to brisbane and god dam have i never been so bored in my life only car on the road for hours. still might just be crashing at the parents place though haha anything to save money as the stupid car has destroyed my savings
