hey guys just brought myself a 98 stagea RS RB25DE for now just wanna know the diffence between a S1 and a S2??

and is there anythink off skylines that fit on to a stagea?

You will find the search feature very useful to answer most such questions...as I'm sure this sort of thing has been covered a lot of times before...

However, to get you started:

S1:

- shares the engine, gearbox and related parts with R33 S2 (1996 onwards)

S2:

- shares the engine, gearbox and related parts with R34 S1

Both S1 and S2 use the ATTESA AWD system from the R33 GTR (although modified to suit the stagea).

Other than the above, both s1 and s2 are very similar. Externally the only differences are the front grille & bonnet shape, the rear indicator colour, and the standard rims. Internally there's even less difference.

s2 = r34 engine transmission

s1 = r33 engine transmission.

s2 has high beam in front grill.

If you're going to buy engine parts research first, as I found out the hard way some parts will fit from an r33 gts and some must be gtr.

Also,and especially if its awd (i cbf scrolling back), and engine swap from r33 will be near impossible (diffs,chassis shape and the like).

Don't be scared to ring up tuning shops and pick their brains, but make sure they know what a stagea is.

C-Red in Perth are gods, I cannot emphasize this enough.

You can add a turbo to the neo engine but if you build up an RB30 block out of a VL you can drop your head on it and then turbo that. What city are you in?

hahaha im in nz its so hard trying to just find stock parts for a stag let alone aftermaket parts cant even find a bodykit in new zealand was gonna do a +T to my rb25de but im going for monter power now so mite go rb26dett and go 1 big turbo

There are plenty of parts available in NZ - a few people have done the R34 front conversion, there is a Stagea kit on trade Me at the moment and there are people in Manukau City, Waitakere and Hamilton at least that i know of who do body kits.
