OK, I'll ask the obvious, what boost controller, did any normal [exclude specials etc] RB's came out with a standard boost controller?

Cant help you out sorry as I have an R33. But I will have a hunt around for some r34 engine bays to see if I can highlight it in a pic for you

It should look some thing this and be just in front of the suspension strut on the passenger side (assuming it is like r33)

Yep that's it. It's bolted to the strut, right behind the power steering reservoir.

the problem is that i've got the Blitz ID3 EBC, so i need a pic of how the standard setup is, so i can take the vacuum hoses out of the EBC and have it setup the standard way.

Hmmmm from memory the top outlet on that solenoid goes to the BOV recirc pipe, that enters the suction pipe, (The pipe leading to the turbo inlet with AFM and air filter at the other end). The bottom one goes to a three way T fitting, with one branching off to the wastegate actuator, and one going to a nipple on the compressor outlet/intercooler pipe.
