They would be rated differently, not sure if that's the issue.

I have an N/A R34 GT Fuel Pump removed at 110,000kms due to upgrade for turbo conversion. I think it will be a standard replacement, if that's what the problem ends up being.

i highly doubt it would be the issue. otherwise all the guys with turbo cars would have issues when they upgraded their pumps.

what is probably happening is that before it was running lean and now it isn't and your coil packs are arcing out as they aren't able to ignite the extra fuel

thanks guys i will acutly look in to it and check da coil packs

before i changed fuel pump i changed my spark plugs and still didn't start so that when i changed the fuel pump and started doing that problem. yesterday i opened the spark plugs and the first one was the only one black from the bottom and it wasn't it, do you know what that could (is? maybe not sure)

not sure if that helps lol =/ tried deciphering it.

it helped a lot. i think he was trying to say at the end that it wasn't oil.

well if it was black but not oil it would've been carbon and unburnt fuel, caused by it running rich or the spark plug not firing.

get a spare spark plug and pull the coil out and hook the spare spark plug up to it and turn the car over to see if it will spark. if it does then swap the spare plug with the one in the engine and try it again to make sure the spark plug isn't dead
