Id stick with the factory size piping, 2.5 inch or so or even 2 inch with a 3 inch flair on the ends. The smaller piping wont cause a restiction on a mildly modded engine.

If you get 3 inch piping all the way you will have more lag when you change gears as you have a greater volume in the inlet tract that has to be presurised.

"Wouldn't it just be easier to buy the hybrid fmic kit and all the pipes are there for you ready to connect up?"

I've heard some good stories about the Hybrid kits, and i've heard quite a few bad stories abouth them...

I'm stuck in the same boat as RSX84, in that i've got the cooler, i just need to know what size piping to get, and which path to run it... Should it go along the standard path, or shoud it come up and over the fan shroud?

my problem is the rb20 is not in a r32 its in a r30 and have been told the piping kit from hybrid might fit, now thats a $500 might fit, i'm getting custom piping made for me here on the coast that are a perfect fit for $400. Not to mention powerdigger would not sell me just the piping kit???

5liter eater- i'm following the path of the hybrid pipes over the fan shroud.
