Yes well original story is if you brought this car, check it has mod plates or a mod certificate with it and check engine numbers.

And if the guy didn't change the motor and just changed the clock well you may have been ripped off. at 120,000 k's it soled for $11,000.

I've seen this a few times, new engine = new speedo. Fair enough, it's god to track the engine Km's but it's not representative of the general wear and tear on the chassis/body and other components. A ride with 120K on the clock and a new engine is just that...a new engine in a car with 120K on the clock.

Which reminds me of the story of the Blower Bentley that over the years had every component changed including the body and chassis. Was it the same car?...but we'll leave that for another conversation.
