Fitting A Full Monkey Warehouse Kit

[89 Cefiro]

Hey I have an RB20det Nissian Cefiro and i was wondering about fittin my kit properly.

Front bar - is it only the two screw in the top of the bar in the wheel arches that hold the kit on

or do i have to make 2 more supports from the front mount?

Side skirts - how do i keep the tops of the skirts level against the front guard? double sided take or

a sika adheasive?

Rear Bar - is it just the same as the front bar? is it just two screws ?

When i bought the car the whole kit was zip tied on

P.S. I know im not a skyline but it is full skyline running gear so I thought you guys would know better than anyone else.

R: I suggest you screw the top of the front bar onto the reo of the front of the car. Follow it up with at least 2 screws on each of the sides and where possible (to make it more secure), screw it to the front grill are too. Basically, the more screws the better.

R: If you want it done right - you should fit it then fiberglass it and respray it so that it looks seemless. However, you can also screw the side skirt into the side of your car and attach it to the front bar too. Don't use double-sided tape here...too be flexing and it will fall off. Suggest screws or liquid ahesives.

R: Two screws plus attach it somehow to the side sideskirts too.

R: Definitely not the way to go...probably was a drifting application.

R: Skyline or not - you're welcome mate. Hope it helped. If you cannot do it right, spend the cash and get a mechanic or panel shop to do it for you.

Hey thanks. I'm a motor body builder by trade so I only know how to modify and manufacture heavy vechiles.

I just didnt know the right way to get a body kit on a car.

I will follow what you said and might even put some pics up when done.

Hi mate, not a problem - you're welcome.

We're all here to help. Just returning the favour. I know what you mean, fixing and adjusting is one thing - adding or putting on a bodykit is another.

Yeah, just follow my steps and you should be right. The key is to make sure you put in as much screws to the reo bar of the car and the side skirts as possible. Try to at least screw the sides and also put some screws in the centre of the front bar, e.g. to the front grill as this will add stability. Where you cannot drill or screw - use liquid sealants...e.g. liquid nails or the like.
