You can get a 2nd hand head with cams, valves etc for that price, i sold one a couple of weeks ago for $850, perfect nick

Not too bad though for Nissan pricing, is that RRP? Trade would easily be $150 less (bit of an educated guess based on what ive seen)

Not sure about $850 for a brand new head - I bought one through Nissan earlier this year and it cost me $1550 flown in from Japan. That was the trade price as well.

$1500 would sound about right for a complete one, then add on Nissan Aust "tax" $$

Shipping etc. Maybe $1700-2k somewhere?

I got a new one from Doug at Rockingham Nissan for around a $1000 quite a while ago Dave but I think thay are around $1300 now.

Bare, just cam caps which are specific to the head. I checked the receipt and it was $1615 trade.

yeah I think dundan is a bit off with pricing. last time I priced one up (recently) they are welll over $1000 from nissan. more like $1500 for a bare head with caps.

$1599 at just jap and in stock. might get it a bit cheaper if you talk to Darron. Cost me over $700 for 12 new nissan exhaust valves when I did my head recently.
