Reco head, blew engine, got new head built, Has $1400 worth of stainless steel valves in it, type B cams, heavier valve springs, all reshimmed etc by engine reconditioner. Sell for $2000

Saves buying a bare head for similar money.

why dont you mate? $1600 for a brand new head, isnt really that bad... chances are that you will be waiting a while for someone to just be randomly selling a brand new head cheap, that they just paid good money for...
