long story short my last motor shot 5th cylinder dropped a new one in there took it get my nistune sorted picked it up all sweet

went to drive it this morning that little gauge abve the fuel gauge is reading -7 last time i drove it it was reading 0 does this gauge actual;ly do anything?

since noticing this my car doesnt drive/idle properly at all turbo sometimes spools when it does it hits some sort of cut.... i dont think its fuel cut as its only on 12psi and when it does boost sounds like it has a screamer on it

Check the vac line running from your MAP sensor (little box next to brake booster) to plenum

that vacume line has always being disconnected and the plenum has been blocked of...

That guage is the factory boost guage -7 is negative (about) 1 bar (14psi) and the last time it was on zero is becuase you didnt have it connected or blocked off... if its still not connected and showing -7 you have a massive leak...

Your problem could be one of many and you havent given much detail on set up, i.e. spark plug type, coil packs, afm, fuel pump etc etc

Also other symptoms like missing or pinging

    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
