i have recently purchased a haltech e6x and been chasing a harness for it, during my asking for a harness one online store replied "how will an e6x work with a r32?? it doesnt have enough ignition channels" is this true??? cheers jonno

update

i replied

Says up to six in pdf file, but then in ignition configuration it say 1-4 direct spark, and waste spark 4,6,8 cylinders I have included the pdf, cheers for your help

he said

You'd have to run waste spark which isn't ideal for coil on plug setups

does this mean i should not run it in my car????

It will run, you just group the channels together.

You'll end up with a wasted spark configuration.

Personally, I'd avoid the haltechs like the plague.

The Vipec V44 is the equavalent and it will kick is ass. You won't need a harness either - It will install inside your factory ECU case, and plug straight in. Will cost about $1300.
