Rb20 Auto Tranny Question

hey need some advice,

its a rb20e from a c33

The electrician wired up the tranny (automatic) i am getting reverse and drive but its not shifting into a higher gear. now the tranny has electronic speedo where as mine was originally manual, there are two sensors to the back by the yoke one on either side of the tranny, but attached to the transmission harness there is an extra sensor and its just hanging there (based on the design it bolts on to something), i cant find a place to put it, any ideads where this third sensor goes? or what's its for. I want to believe that this is the reason why its not shifting up, as not all sensors are hooked up. any help would be real good. thanks the electrician is not sure as well

I know the oics are not the best but this is what i have and the engine is in the car already, i want 2 make sure i have done all i could to get it working before i take it out to get back my money
