Engine Shutting Down When Shifting Into Gear (automatic)

Hey guys, i have a problem, hope someone can shed some light.

I've just finished doing an engine build and gearbox swap.

The motor is stock and i've just mated it up to a 300zx auto(re403a)

Now i started the engine, no probs, ran it for a bit, but when i tried putting it in gear, it shut down.

Now i think the oil level is low, but is that enough or is there a signal sent from the auto ecu to engine ecu telling it to shut down??

Now its not power that the gearbox is taking from that is shutting it down, as i accelerated, raised the idle, all sorts of things, so dunno whats going on.

Any help would be appreciated
