Which Light Is This

guys I've been searching Google and this site for an hour now! cannot find what light this is ... oil pressure light is usually different so whats this it comes on intermittantly and keeps going on and off etc.

beware, if this is truly coming on due to exhaust temp being really excessive I would imagine possibility of lean mixtures

yes it's the exhaust temp light, activated by a sensor in the cat.

i think that if it was coming on you would know that you have very lean mixtures as it would be pinging its arse off.

generally this light comes on because of the sensor or the wiring in the sensor being damaged. i used to have the light come on when i put the key in the car first thing in the morning if i just turned the ignition to on, even before i had started the car. it would also come on when driving along a bumpy road

thanks alot fellaz. I did increase the boost a bit so I guess it makes sense. lucky i havent gunned it ever since i saw that light come on. Only came on 2-3 times intermittently. gonna goto a dyno and get boost upped properly.

Comes on at about 500c, just a warning not to park your car on grass as it the grass will catch fire.
