I have built the rb22 bottom end with Rb25 crankshaft and rods with 4agze 81.5mm pistons i now need a head gasket to suit my questions:

where do i get one to suit the 81.5mm width ??

what thickness do i need ??

Any help really appreciated as im struggling now :ninja:

I know the centre bores are the same but i really dont think the rb25det or rb26dett one will fit im still struggling to know whay thickness i need or to work it out ??

ive used RB26 ones (customer could not afford a 82mm) in the past without issues. I do have a used 82mm Tomei or HKS rb24 gasket here somewhere if you get stuck.

just a stupid question....... if you can use an RB26 gasket on the custom RB2.2 block

can you upgrade to an rb26 head also?

just curious because i know the rb26 head flows wayyyyy better than the rb20det head

yeah it can be done, rb26 has larger head studs/bolts though.
