Spotted the yellow R34 again, was in the bright blue Audi this time.

Made it onto the Gungahlin drive at the perfect time this morning, just as it was opening.

Hahaha and i was driving along the parkway and gunghalin drive looking for an NX.

Haha well hubby has 1 and I have 2 :)

The NX is pretty dodgy, nice to have as a daily shitter that I can park anywhere and don't care about. Also means when the GTR is offroad (like now) even though I'm hanging out for it to come home it's not an inconvenience getting to work and whatnot.

i'll need to get a daily runner eventually so i'm not racking up the K's on the Skyrine

Couldn't miss a black r33 series 2 flying through our worksite at around 10 this morning in clift cr richards

Came round the bend near 100kph, had to slow him down with our flag man, but still he couldn't slow down fast enough. He passed us travelling around 40-50

He was mouthing sorry as he passed, but damn man. It's a 40 zone for a reason. Working on the road is hazardous enough without cars speeding excessively within a metre of us.

^^ i know a fella that lives 3 streets away from there with a black r33 with chrome hp designs :/

yea sounds like it could b the same dude, he was wearin chromes too.

We're building road islands all down that street for that exact reason.

I mean, i'm not the one to harp on bout speeding, but there's a time and place. We have 40 signs up and down the whole street, it'd just b nice to not have to worry bout getting cleaned up while working for "the man"

How ironic would it b to get wiped out building an island to stop ppl getting wiped out.

    • I found the same with Subaru’s.  I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year.  lol
    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
