Yep;spotted you just near the Vid' shop...

I'd love to say I'll be in my R32 GT-R,but unless last night's PowerBall numbers were kind to me,I'm more likely to be in the 1/2 million kilometre old NA Liberty GX...whimper. However, you may see my wife's car around;a gold Sube' Forester, slammed on 20's with a big STi scoop etc. A fairly hard car to miss...

There's a gold 33,carbon bonnet and no/minimal boot spoiler that lives in Jerra'-Darryl is the man in question. Neat car! Might be the one you've seen?

yeah man i seen it heaps, has she had work done by that guys at that servo on lanyon drive?

coz i think i was in there admiring the car when the bloke said "yeah it belongs to a lady but her partner's car is even better, she is alowed to spend on her car to keep her happy witch keeps you him happy when he wants to spend" gave me a little chuckle.

Yep;the gang at Integra have looked after both hers and mine over the years. The more she spends on hers, the more my rebuild is going to be worth it...

This is the 'Resta upon purchase:

And currently(a work in progress....)

So,if you want to use some imagination, here's a 'before rebuild' photo of the GT-R...

And after...

The physical shape wont change-it's the original Godzilla,so I couldn't change perfection!-but if you thought it was good before,well...

E's tint was Terry at Instant Windscreens in Fyshwick-the ONLY fella to be allowed near our cars for tinting!

pretty sure i spotted tj in civic this afternoon. also a burgandy r33.

i was on northbourne in the ute with the bonnet up waiting for the nrma. you know why?

- someone bought it for $1500

- called me up 10 mins later to say 'it just died'

- i gave him back the money, he left

- nrma arrives, reckons somehow they'd somehow jammed the key onto 'start' and been driving with the starter motor spinning?!

but i'm not bitter.

^^ haha dude.. are you still pissed?

I was off tap.. I cant even remember going on the computer and actually writing it. I can't even imagine myself being able to use it whilst being in the state that I was in.

Hot plates!

Who is this Phee you speak of?

This 'Phee' has caught my interest..

 She's from Darwin but i think she's getting some work done on her car down here.. and yes she's a hottie :D

.. I think we should ALL meet at the museum this friday.. rain, hale or shine.. my car is very cozy.

Pfft.. I wouldn't wave to you anyway  nah, not you..

You heard much from manpower? I asked my TL how you went, and he said you were pretty good.

EDIT: Not Manpower as in the naked guys.. but the recruiting agency that ATO (my work) uses to employ people.

haven't heard anything yet. keeping my fingers crossed. i'm only doing bunnings twice a week, i'm that sick of it. it's good tho, it's like a paid holiday! but yeah, guess i'll wait and see. thanks for the heads up ps again. will see u soon.

    • I clean my wheels every time I wash the car, I also clean the barrels, the only product I use on the wheels is truck wash and a pressure washer, followed by (inset your chosen name brand) wash and wax, time per wheel is probably 2 minutes total, cleaning the barrels is easy with one of these microfibre thingies on a stick from Sabco, they're also great for getting in between the front guards and body, and tight spots in the engine bay
    • An updated post here. Sounds to me like there's definitely a bit of sketchiness here.  Old mate with 10 rusting Torana's in the front yard might be more who they're focussed on. (For right or wrong).
    • Is this not just about people wrecking, and storing, multiple cars in their front yard? I now a tow truck driver that was contracted by the council to clean up housing commission front and rear yards in houses and unit car parks I'm all for working on, and doing maintenance on your car in your garage or driveway, but some people definitely take the piss  There's one house locally to me that I walk past regularly where the front yard and driveway looks like a wreckers, multiple cars in various stages of being stripped, and the yard looks like all of fluids are basically dumped on the ground I may be wrong, but it seems that the initial reports, which I've seen nothing actually official about yet, may be getting taken out of context, like alot of the latest "the sky is falling" stuff found on the youtubes for clicks
    • have they? Link appreciated. I live in Casey. I can see both sides of the argument in this case. There's a lot of sketchy stuff going on. There needs to be a clear definition of what this is supposed to be IMO. I wager the intent was to be a broad sweeping brush against people who have 4 cars up on blocks on their front lawn, not someone who services their own car behind their own gate on a weekend bothering probably nobody. But it'd be hard to legislate the difference there.
    • Oh, the wheels were already off. I wouldn't normally take them off to clean them although it does make it easier with the ceramic, so I might take them off when reapplying. I don't drive much but now with the ceramic coat, when I do drive and they get dirty I can get most off with the pressure washer. I'll be switching to dirtier pads soon which was the motivation for the ceramic as I usually just clean them and sometimes use Autoglym wheel protector. Nah, f**k the barrels! Haha, I'll give them a quick scrub when they're off the car and a pressure wash, but even I draw the line with the barrels. Yes, dark coloured wheels allow you to get away with a lot!
