that's the one alright... even in different config... the power rating is the same.

couldnt see what would justify a 1k higher price tag.

but meh, i'll contact GCG and see what the story is.

Get me the exact specs, & I'll order them. Still waiting for about another 2 orders. Otherwise we don't get the extra 10% off the wholesale price.

Is that this one?

There are a lot of different compressor/turbine wheel and housing combos, there are 9 GT30's on Ray Halls site alone. The GCG one is a 550-600hp one, so you need to find out what parts the $1900 one is made from and what it's rated to.

Hi Rowdyr32

I thought the same thing, however he said if I recall correctly, they were all the same price. I will confirm this week.

Also, regarding cores, parts etc, I'd prefer to just organise discounts for SAU on the turbos. As parts etc can be a back & forth, doesn't fit..etc etc

If i order a core it'll be to put in something and machine out to MAKE it fit, but no matter i'm not in the market at this very moment, i was just interested in pricing for in the future.

Thanks.

Hmm how do I order the GT3040 then - pay direct with you mentioning group buy?

Since this is a group buy I have to ask is the SAU discount going to be the same price or is it going to cost more in future?

I haven't exactly the best method for payment as yet, but it would be pay before you receive, no Aus Post COD, all prices don't include delievery. I can only get a continual discount depending on our first few orders. If we can come up with the numbers 5~10units as our inital order, then it shouldn't be a prob later on. But at this stage it looks like I have around 3orders so we are still a little off.

    • Dry sump? Is that like where you don't put oil in, and leave the car parked in the garage because it's worth so much now and is like a beautiful museum piece? 😛

Great colour with a fantastic velour interior. Very quiet and fast car (<6s 0-100), but can also be very economical for performance (long-term average consumption 11/100 km) I imported it five years ago, and it was well looked after. It has a full service history and a balance of ACT rego. There are no finance or PPSR issues with the car. Has all the features you'd expect from a luxury car. ABS brakes Stability control Traction control Dual-zone climate control Power and memory front seats and steering column Power passenger ottoman Smart key access Push button start 2 parking cameras Steering wheel audio controls Adaptive radar cruise control AFS aiming headlights Xenon HID headlights Security system Original Nissan remote start system Two original keys Dual-channel dashcam Blackvue 750 with PowerMagicPro for battery-aware parking recording Regularly serviced with a lot of major items done: Full new original Nissan suspension shocks throughout Performance CSF radiator Recent tyres, less than 10k on them New drive belt New bonnet struts Brakes recently done The car comes with a fully converted AV system with Australian GPS maps, DVD, and radio ($2k job). I really love this car, but I have too many cars and too many Nissans in the family, so unfortunately, I need to sell it. Priced at $18500 The car can be seen in Curtin. Thank you for your attention.
    • Here are a few photos.  The car is auction grade 4.5B and a genuine 1 owner car, as far as I can tell...  It has a full service history with only 31,000km in it.  I'd love to put a midpipe and tune on it but I am thinking that I'll retain its originality.
    • I can be grumpy!  After owning one of the first GTRs in the country, I was bitten by the nostalgia bug and started the hunt for a GTR again.  While I could have bought a car locally, I wanted to experience the search for a car in Japan and bidding at auction.  The above videos document my experience to date and hope forum members find them interesting and informative.  I was after a low mileage, completely stock car in the launch colour and am pretty stoked with what I got!
    • Did you calibrate the throttle in the Haltech? It might be falling in and out of the closed loop strategy, especially if the car has been tuned on different TPS voltages.
