4wd To Rear 2wd?

Hey guys,

Just a question as above. Is it possible to convert a gts4 to rear wheel drive only? Looking at buying one which seems to be pretty clean with a good price, but will need to be rwd if its going to be slideable. (Will be used for drift, and I'm new to skylines.) Cheers guys!

Depends which GTS4.

If you want to drift it, get a RWD model.

Oh, and the SEARCH function should have uncovered dozens of threads on this subject.

yeah don't bother if you want to drift, and R32 you can just pull a fuse on, R33/34 will need to have front driveshaft removed.

Other option is to have the best of both, search for either a HKS ETSC (Electronic Torque Split Controller) or similar. The HKS one was discontinued for 33's, but you can still find good second hand units. Other manufacturers like Dash Dancer still do a similar item
