series 1 or 2?

does anyone know when nissan changed from the series 1 to series 2? my mate has just purchased a r33 gtst 6th month 95 from brisbane street machines.

it was 95 when they changed. He probably has a series 1.5 if he doesnt have the new style slimmer headlights and updated front bar, if he has that then its a series 2.

Mines a September 1995 and is a series 1.

Although it could be the series 1.5 !!

The 1.5's came with the series 2 motor, series 2 rear wing, but kept the series 1 front end (bonnet, lights, gaurds etc..).

Do you have a pic of it yet??

if you go to streetmachines web sit and go to the cars for sale part it still should be there. its the r33 gtst purple 1. the only r33 with a pic. its not bad but he is having ideling problems with it. does anyone know where he can buy a throttle cable, apparently his is stretched.

its a series 1... might be a 1.5, but i doubt it.. its got a full kit, so i'd say the wing isn't a factory item.
