pillar gauge holders

to use one of these with a mechanical boost gauge, do i have to hack the pillar its sitting on?? ie cut a hole for it?? or is there another way to do it??

My AutoMeter Cup is screwed into the pillar.

The boost/power lines are runnong down the back of the dash, worked out really neat. I guess you would run the wires/hoses down the inside of the pillar to keep it really neat though.

u mean u got the hosing to come out without making any holes?? how did u get the boost hose to run out the back?? could u post a pic?

The cup has a hole in the back of it, the line/wires run down between the window and the dash, and into the steering solumn for power, and the engine bay for boost reading.

I'll snap a shot when i get home.
