Eric , the R34 will be faster with equivalent mods as it is running the NEO spec engine.

here we go again... Another mines better than yours thread...

R34 has the newer Neo Spec engines, more power and more torque. (280PS vs 250PS)

...but the R34 also weighs more...

Not much in either way me thinks and in any case they're both damned fine cars. Be happy to own/drive either.

i have seen quite a few R34 were not fast after mod, not the car or driver, simply becoz the computer PROTECT the car too much. Seems the older the ECU, the better they are (see R32!)

What size wheels were u running compared to the R33?

mine 235 and 255 (17"), I'm not sure his, he's using ROH blade 17" that's all I know

I vote for either this one, or the one where the guy wanted a list of 1/4 mile times from stock cars, and wasn't going to even buy one for 2 years (actually, if he DOES buy one within 2 years I'll give him $10!)

There is the od' freak R33 ECU that will make ~200rwkw on ~11-12psi with only a FMIC & exhaust.

Buggalugs is the man..

He also proceeded to run a low to mid 13sec 1/4.

Before he had the FMIC fitted I had a run with him when I was making 152rwkw on 12.5psi. He lost the launch and didn't reel me in at all, I remember looking back as I clicked third which is my quickest gear and saw my self pulling away from him slowly.

DID you turn off your TCS and how many K of RPM when you lunch.. how much of wheel spin did you get.

I Think is the driver problem. if your car setting every is correct.

I did turn TCS off , I ran 3000 rpm when i launched. not much wheel spin.

I lost since 2nd and 3rd gear.

Joel : after he got that FMIC, did you win him? or you lose instead mid 13!! wow that's fast for only those mods

how many bar is 12 psi?
