Photo Upload Doesn't Always Work

some days I can't upload photo's to my albums. when i try i get this error

The error returned was:

The image upload failed, please contact a system administrator

I have the same problem accross multiple computers. Also if I try and add a pic straight to a post, it'll go through the upload procedure, then just not have anything in the list of photos (no error)

So it does work sometimes or not at all?

I don't understand the lats part about pic straight to a post - if you upload it then you just need to use IMG tags

it doesn't always work....20 mins after i made this thread i could upload photo's to my album again.

2nd part of the post, i was meaning when you upload a picture directly to a post, as an attachment.
