Rb30/25 De

I've got some questions that i can't find the answer to in any of threads i've gone through in this section, basically -

1 - does the head Bolt straight on? ( yes dumb question but i can't find it anywhere)

2 - would the RB30 bolt straight into an r32?

3 - Will i be able to use the R32 loom without modifying it too much?

4 - Does the R32 gearbox bolt straight up?

5 - can i use the RB20 or 25 alternator? If so, will it need to be re-wound?

6 - how much more power/torque would it make than an RB25 with same mods? estimation of course

7 - what timing belt would i use?

Did you REALLY search?

Basically ALL of those questions are answered in the RB25/30 guide, which is in the RB30DET section...

ive just done this in my laurel..

4. yes

5. yes.. no..

6. my magic ball broke..

7. 152 teeth gates belt.. not sure on part number but its all on here

Just as an indicator in regards to your question 6.. not quite the same example but I went from an RB20 with 25 turbo to RB30DET with the same turbo.

The RB20 made ~250rwhp @ ~6500rpm with 12psi reached about 3500rpm.

The RB30DET with same turbo made ~250rwhp @ 4600rpm with 12psi reached by 2200rpm.

So that's 2L to 3L.. somewhere in between would be a 2.5L
