GUys I recently threw a rod, and since this am looking for some forged gear since the motor will be outa the car.

Can you guys suggest brand & price for forged pistons & conrods and where they are available (shops) or if anyone has any available (laying around the house)?

Cheers & thanks Guys,

How on earth did you throw a rod with 200rwkw?

If you don't plan to do much more to the car, just get another RB25 engine, a lot cheaper and no mucking around.

Cant quite explain that one.

Who knows what the guy did before me with it. I just thought since the motore will be out may as well do right from day one with forged gear and if I choose later down the track for some higher Hp output i know i could handle it..

Seen many 25s throw rods even at modest power. They snap at the Oil squirter boss and often do little or no damage to the block as the rod still attached to the crank is short. Some totally destroy everything. Most brake when you lift off after a high speed run, The combustion load stops excessive rod stretch at high rpm till you close the throttle.
