Boost Gauge

Hi guys, my r34 has had an aftermarket boost gauge fitted before i bought the car, its in mm/hg and kg/cm2, i would like to change it to a gauge that reads psi. Is that just a matter of buying the appropriate gauge and taking out the old one and fitting this in its place??

sorry to hijack,

but i wana do something similar, i have apexi boost cage mounted on steering wheel, i wana get a 52 mm autoguage boostguage off justjap, would all the wiring need to be redone, or can you somehow disconnect the wiring and plug it onto the new boost guage?

If you're replacing a mechanical gauge with another mechanical then it should be pretty straight forward. But an electrical gauge in place of a manual will require the appropriate sender, and some wiring to be done.

I got brand new 52mm HDI/Hybrid mechanical boost gauges that read up to 30psi for only $35 delivered.

They are excellent gauges for the price and come with all the connections required for install.
