Headunit Surround? Will Not Fit :(

Hey today, i got my sound system installed, and the alpine head unit surround (trim) wont fit... coz its so small.. its kindof upsetting, and im jjust wondering what you guys did, did you file it down like a few millimeters both side... or is there one i could buy that has samller sides.. etc, let me know you thoughts/ experiances

i just used a dremel and took couple of mm of each side

reshaped mine to match the other dash bits and cover it with carbon fiber , to get rid of the trim ring altogether, near zero clearance , just enough for tv motorization to move

Did you try the stock trim? My R32 had a stock one that was slightly smaller that I was able to make fit. Either way carefully shaving a little off the sides should be easy.
