Radiator.

Hi guys, i flushed my radiator out the other day and id say it has never been done before, the "coolant" was brown and the hoses had rust all through them, Is there any products i can buy that will really clean it all out and get rid of the rust from everywhere??

dunno but i'd be sticking the hose in there and flushing it good. Maybe fill it with just water first, run it for a bit drain it again and then put the coolant in and fill it

I flushed mine 3 or 4 times over a few days to completely get rid of the the horrible brown rusty looking water now its fine...

Just take your time, fill it, bleed it each time like its the last time your gonna do it, then do it again a day or a few hrs later after driving it around for say 20 minutes...

How do you bleed the radiator??

I emailed ya back but basically i cut a coke bottle in half sealed it on top of the rad and just kept filling it whilst slowing revving the car to 3 and 4k (note i always kept it at least half full whilst doing it) and just watched all the bubbles come out i also had the heater on full blast on max hot.

I also undid the bleed nut/screw on the end of the intake plemun to further bleed it, hope this helps....
