Any advice will be much appreciated...........

Here's the problem:

- noticed fuel leaking from hose connecting fuel filter to fuel rail (was old and split)

- replaced it

- car starts but now idles very rough and feels like it is running a cylinder or so down

- cannot even drive up the street i.e. zero power and big engine vibrations

Note: Car was running perfectly fine before I noticed/fixed the fuel line

Was the fuel line fix and problem a coincidence (surely not)? Do I need to do something else in order to get the fuel flowing prperly again (clutching at straws here)?

Sounds and feels bad but I am really hoping it is something simple. This car is hardly driven and has been bullet proof otherwise.

Please help!

There are 2 little vacuum hoses up there, to and from the fuel pressure regulator and another (cant remember where it goes off the top of my head). Make sure they are both in place

Hmmm don't remember taking any other hoses off but may have accidently dislodged one somehow.

It is a HKS fuel rail with a Sard FPR. Maybe the pressure is out now? Low? Might be worth a check i think.

Thanks for the idea. Anyone think of anything else?

I really hope this is something simple :geek:
