I'm looking at a set of Volk GT-N wheels with the following attributes. Does anyone know if they will fit nicely on R34 GTT coupe without any modification to the guardes or anything else? Also should the +30 offset goes in front or rear? I was under the impression that less offset gives more dish which is not what I can see from below, is this right? I was quoted around 2k for the set is this a reasonable price?

18x8 +30 (56mm dish)

18x8 +36 (63mm dish)

Rubber: DNA 235/40/18

Thanks

They'd fit alright but wouldn't look "great" (The fitement that is, its a sexy wheel). They would sit inside the guards burt you'd have no clearence issues (I'm running wider wheels and lower offsets on my R34 opn coilovers with bog standard guards, un-rolled). 2k might be a bit much purely because the sizes and offsets aren't ideal for your car, but then again better then some Knob Jane Homo-spec wheels. If you like them get them. My valuation (private sale) $1.5k - $2k

Also, run the higher offset on the front as your rear guards are wider :)

I really like these wheels and it seems very hard to find them nowadays because it's discontinued. This is the only set that I come across that appeared to be the most suitable ones for GTT. But you guys are right the size is still not ideal... I double check if the back is not 9inch.

I've read from another post that someone suggested R34 GTT can fit:

Front: 18 x 8 +30 - +36

Rear: 18 x 9 +32 - +38

Is this correct? Obviously the narrower and/or higher offset will give more clearance but look less "great"?

edit, i just worked out where you are buying those wheels, and he has WAAAY better rims for your car!

True that! But I really like those patterns and colours and it falls into my price range. I think it will look greate if it has the right width and offsets....

aah... what's on the site is all that's there atm...

Volk GT-N

18x9 +24

18x10 +30

245/40 275/40 ~60%

$2500 (ETA FEB)

these would need some rolling but probably not a flare, and would fit on a GTT veeeeeeeery nicely if you are willing to mod the guards just a lil... :D

Nice choice of rims! I wish I didnt sell my old set! absolutely love em... $2k is a good price too.

These were on my old gtst.. might give you a bit of idea of fitment.

18X8 front +36, will need a 10mm spacer to fit over an r33 front caliper might be the same for the R34?

18X9 rear +38,
