Hey guys,

Was hoping to get a bit of help on this one. Due to a few people who enjoy driving their cars in to me, my car went in for some minor body work repairs (rear bumper respray, front bar respray, front-left guard).

It took until dark, but I noticed that my headlights were funky - only one side was projecting, and when trying the high beams, they (or it) went nowhere.

They were working before I took the car in, and they certainly did do something, as my original parking bulbs were white, but are now yellow, so I can at least assume they replaced the bulbs.

High-beams on (makes a bright light, but projects nothing)

My second problem is the horn. This certainly was working as well - but was not working properly upon getting my car back. When I press the horn, the one horn (on the right, when facing the front of the car) lets out a quiet version of what it should be. Nothing comes from the horn on the left at all.

I did find two unplugged grounding cables, but have no freaking idea where they belong. I'm sure these were not obviously visible before - could these affect the horn at all? Or even the headlight problem?

(there is another one, just to the left)

I'd appreciate some help with this, I'm taking my car to Tasmania this week and I need it to be working ;) I did try my mechanic, and others in the area, but everyone is on holiday!

hey blind_elk - thank you so much for the offer.

i actually ended up taking it to the original repairers, and they found that it was the grouding wires that needed to be reconnected up - so all good now :D

    • I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in what MCM were going to do with the NC I really enjoy their banter and occasional collaborations (like Alan from TSF, Ben from BCW, or any of the Haltech guys throwing around their experience), and I have probably watched everything they have put out
    • Not yet, we basically drove it to a private road, got the logs and drove it straight back. I think I need a new passenger seat belt after the mrs squeezed the life out of it.
    • Sounds insane! 🤤🤤🤤  Do you have any vids of it driving?  A flyby would be nice!
    • The prices of NCs are going to go up thanks to you... and partially the MCM guys.
