Hello All,

As many of you may have heard; A bushfire swept through the outskirts of Toodyay destroying many houses and devastating many farms/livestock.

This bushfire has hit close to home, and I am sure you all know someone who has been affected by this fire.

Running on Empty Car Club is organising a Fundraiser Cruise to raise some much needed money for the people in Toodyay who have lost everything.

Details of the cruise are as follows:

Date: Saturday 9th January, 2010

Meet Point: Causeway Car Park, Cnr Causeway & Riverside Dr

Time: 8pm

Depart: 8:45pm

$10 Per Map. All money raised from the event will NOT be held by Running on Empty Car Club. ALL money will be given straight to the Toodyay community.

I have family who live in toodyay. Luckily their house was not affected by the fire, although they could see the flames from their house, and they were told to evacuate.

I will definately come to this cruise, and will tell my mates about it also. Cruising for a good cause such as this is always worth it. I'm assuming its a completely open cruise?
