If your key is just the normal keyless entry then any place that cuts keys. (won't have keyless entry but will work as spare) or get a new key from Nissan about $350

They are only a problem if the have a red slot on the ignition side of the key and that is rare.

The best thing to do by the way is use the SEARCH button. Then you would have found this LINK

I'm not going to ask why you don't have the key in the first place yelrotflmao-vi.gif

Well list the modifications done to the R34, it would not be hard to get a second key if you had all the infomation and rights to the car. It would not be cheap but people lose there keys with transponders all the time. To replace it is very easy because they are the owner of the car.

In order to hack that system you would start by replacing lock cylinder, the ecu, and reset any anti theft system by syncing the new hardware to the anti-theft system it has. A fuel cut is a saftey setting for theft. Like GM has the passlock system it is more complicated than you think. Why cant you get a new transponder key by the corresponding company?

Thanks

Yes those quotes are reasonable. You might as well get 1-2 more quotes and see if 1X locksmith will undercut (-bad pun) the others.

It's good to cut an el cheapo spare as well for the boot or in case you leave the keyless one in the boot.

given you are in WA you should have a immobiliser as part of roadworth anyway.

to answer your question (PM) I'm Qld based. see one of the westside stores (pref cannington) for a decent immobiliser.
