Hey all, did a quick search couldn't find the answer to this (and also didn't seem to be covered in much detail in the tutorial) - I've tried to install a boost gauge in my series 2 r33 and cannot find a hole in the firewall to run the line through... the tutorial that someone posted suggested that there is a hole near the factory boost unit... but the only holes I can see there are holes into above the wheel arch and the hole the throttle cable runs through.

Any ideas? A pic would be great help, thanks all!

hey mate

I don't have a pic for you, but the way I have ran mine is down into the hole below the factory boost solenoid (it's a large hole). It leads to the top side of your inner plastic wheel guard (inside your fender), if you remove this plastic guard at the back you'll see a few cables running into a large grommit which leads into the cabin.

You can punch a hole in this grommit and run your boost gauge wire/hose in through there, then all you need to do is remove the kick panel pull the wire/hose through the grommit and connect it to your gauge.

hope this helps

cheers,

frank
