R32 Gtst Steering Rack

Hey all,

Wondering from what people have expierienced whether its a better option to get a reconditioned rack and replace your stuffed rack with that one or find a rack from a wreckers and replace it with one of those only to have it possibly leak again in the near future or fix the current rack in the car by replacing the seals and boots both sides?

Not looking at it from the cheapest-way point of view, but moreso what will be the best option for continued reliability

Also, if reconditioning is the best option, can anyone reccommend a place to have it done (In adelaide, prefered closeish to CBD) and/or get a changeover rack?

Personally, I would look at getting your rack reco'd. It is a known unit.
