I also used the driver side...

What I did was crank up the car, take the wheel off, take off the plastic under guard that has like 2/3 screws and 3/4 pop out pins then passed the cable right next to the others...

Then on the inside I took off the cover on the right to the pedals (has like to spots on the front where you have to pop out with a flat head if you dont want to damage anything).

Fairly Simple...

+1 for using the large grommet hidden behind the drivers side wheel arch plastic.

Put a screw driver through the hole in the grommet (careful not to stab and wires) and just pull down on it to open up the hole a little more(it should stretch a fair bit) and then slide the cable through while you are stretching the grommet

use the factory grommet, a small slice with a exacto type knife in the surround, and a old ford solid antenna works a treat with the ball end cut off , bent into a arc

tape the wiring to it on the drivers seat side and push it thru your slice slowly, if you need to use some silicone spray lube to make it slide thru

you should see the wires come out around the drivers feet well, kick panel. run them under the carpet, under the metal brackets and seat frame, away from the RCA wires. not pinched by bolts or dangling by the pedals .. tape it to the floor using gaffer tape for a neat job and no movement

you can pass it thru into the boot behind the side panels in the rear seat area(by the shocks) or between the boot panel located behind the rear seat bottom corner.

use care around the fuel pump wires

and use a fuse at the battery

PS.its easier to pull thick wire from the front seat area the short distance to the battery then it is to pull it thru the grommet the length of the car, especially with thick 4GA or bigger wires. if you push the ford antenna or clothes hanger thru the hole you can tape the big wires to it, spray with silicone and swish they go thru easy as piss

Thanks guys i didnt realise there was one on the drivers side (i am sooooo blind) i just saw the on the passenger side. i will give it a go today and see how i go and let you know if i run into any troubles.

Cheers
