Buying R33 1993, Need Help Please!

hey fellas, need some help with my first car..

got a good deal lining up with a 1993 model of the skyline r33.. its automatic.. :c 65,000 kms and a its at a very good price,black. really happy with it for a first car..

mint condition.. only thing is that its turbo.. was wondering if its possible to remove the turbo so its p plate legal (Victoria) and if so how much would it cost approx?

any help with be greatly appreciated, im all new to this haha ><

simple answer is no, easiest way is to transplant an RB25DE into it even then im not sure if vicroads will accept it as non-turbo..maybe if you get an engineers cert?

hey man ive just done same thing as you been lookin for skyline for a while and finaly decided to buy a non turbo r32 and picking it up in 3 weeks ...i was going to buy a turbo and take it off but iv searchd on forum for a few months and all ive read is just buy a non turbo... saves money / time and apprently since on p plates u cant have any engine mods and iv read that removing turbo is classified as a mod so yeh dunno about that.. also iv found this very helpful http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html . just on things 2 check so u dont buy a dodgey skyline

you could always remove turbo but its up to you just search around on the naturally aspirated part of the forum what exactly you need to remove turbo and how much it will cost you and check with vic roads to see if it would classify as a engine mod then decide if its what you want to do
