hey all, does anyone know any quick ways to increase engine compression? wen cold my car is just under half at 2kg/cm2 but wen warn it gets to halfway or 4kg/cm2 is this normal? if not how can i increase the conpression?

yes that is oil pressure, not compression. it has to do with how thick the oil is at different temps. however my 33 used to have higher oil pressure when cold than hot if i remember correctly. may be that your oil pump is dodgy, or your gauge is.

ok, all good and well till i just got back from a short drive, its under 1 now, which is odd because this morning it was at 2 and 4 :S is my engine about todrop out? bearing in mind its a fairly hot day, does that effect pressure?

oil pressuere will raise under acceleration or when the engine is idling high (like on start up) i think when idling when warm 33s will sit on about 4 and higher when cold. sounds like u have a flow problem.

you should get this checked out asap low oil preasure is a quick way to make your motor go boom!

Stock oil pressure senders on the RB's are notorious for giving incorrect readings, so i wouldnt worry unless the red light comes on :happy: To play it safe you should connect a master gauge to double check. A workshop can do this for you without much trouble.
