Hi all,

I know I should not post something for Toyota cars here, but my problem need to be solved by you.

I have Apexi PFC for 2jz (JZA80) and I purchased PP Injectors 1000cc with (Name of Injectors: Precision No.# 17113744 Black Color)

Please see my calculation below:

Old Size / New Size = Correction

New Latency - Old Latency = Latency Correction

440 / 1000 = 0.44 * 100 = 44.0%

0.95 - 0.90 = +0.05 msec

I want to make sure with you because my target is 11.5 AFR in 2 bar I hope I will reach it, Shall I increase the injector correction & latency or keep it as it is.

My questions are in the PFC for Nissan car, Are you putting the same correction and latency? Can you reach 11.5 AFR in 2 bar with these setting?

Thank you and best regards,

Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

This was answered in your post on the supra forums already...you need to get it tuned...the percentage correction alone and lagtime setting (latency) are a seperate issue and setting that alone with not give you XXX AFR at XX Bar...stop wasting peoples' time....

I now I already put these questions @ Supra forms and I but it here to ask those people who is using 1000 cc @ Nissan cars, because when I put these correction & lagtime I cannot reach to 11.5 AFR and it keep at lean side which is more than 12.5 AFR even if I increase the injector cells with maximum load and I didn't reach 1 bar. that why I put my questions here for those who is using 1000 cc with Apexi PFC maybe they have another setting. so please I am not wasting peoples time.

Is there any one using 1000cc injectors with Apexi PFC?

Thank you,

yeah the base injector settings are exactly that, the base settings to get the car running correctly

its reasonable to expect a complete retune of the fuel and ign maps

especially if you are going from 440cc injectors to 1000cc

you cant just expect a simple adjust of the injectors to retune it for you

you now need to learn how to tune the fuel map

its not hard, just read the documentation or read the pfc faq or get a tuner to do it for you

if you dial the injector settings in

and its lean, then on the fuel map add in some more fuel - simple really

hes saying hes maxxed the figures in the fuel map and its still too lean, hence asking about scaling the injectors further.

are you using datalogit? if so and yours has a base map, try using re-calc base

if you have run out of fuel you need to recurve the AFM voltage curve to get the correct results. With the Map based ecu's you can recalc the base map or via the INJ Adjust on settings 3 tab (i dont like touching this)

  • 2 weeks later...

I went to one tuner and he recalculated to be: 56.0% +0.18 msec

he was tuning for spool up with 13-15 AFR (it was not exactly 13,14 or 15 AFR) and when it come to 20 psi of boost with 12 AFR. which I think it should be 11.5 AFR.

What is the A/F everyone runs when coming onto boost and during spool up?

Thank you,
