well it does start very slow and easy but it does pick up quick and then you die:)

im on chapter 4 or 5 and battles are hard now and you really need to get into the paradime (spelling) shift and summons etc

the graphics on the ps3 are sexual.

I gotta say that the start is so boring. I don't even know what they are talking about!

Falcie lacie WTF!!!

I've been waiting so long and I gotta say I'd rather play COD.....><

Please tell me its gonna get better!!!

But the graphics are so cheesey! PS3 FTW!

I'm hoping it gets a lot better once i get into it a bit more, only probably about 2 hours in. I just really miss the simple things like in FF8 where items were hidden everywhere and they didn't show up on screen with a big flashing "X" or something, you had to click it yourself if you thought an item was there. And the fact a map wasn't just a straight line. So far i have literally pressed forward the whole time on the joy stick.

I'm going to give you a spoiler but F**K it cos its true the game is very "walk straight" for about 20 hours but you guys need an incentive to play!

Once you hit the 20 hour mark in the game the second world opens up and you take on monster hunter side quests.

I have played around 21 hours or so and now I can say its FF all over again. Just very slow to reach that point in the game.

Why should it take 20 hours into the game before you can run around the world and hunt chocobos and do side missions..?

Who knows but square really pushing my patience in FFXIII.

All I can say it pays of, so for all you guys who dropped the pad at 20mins into the game don't play no more cos you got about 20 hours until it opens up haha

It's a shame the real game we have all been waiting is far into FFXIII, but damn you are missing out if you truly enjoy any FF and drop the pad before the second world.

I am going to tough it out and finish it..... dispite REALLY disliking the first 2 hours...

If they make Versus 13 this bad, I will probably never buy another FF game again...... unless its a remake/remaster of the old ones.

Oh i'm definetely going to stick with it, but 20 hours, god damn thats going to piss me off.

Honestly, remake FF7 and FF8 with modern graphics on PS3 and maybe chuck a couple of new things into it and you would probably sell just as many copies as you would a new FF if not more.

ff7 and 8 was the best 9 was hard but was good also. ff10 was just TOO easy and straight forward. i just want a few reviews on ff13 then ill buy it but it doesnt look very promising ahahaha A remake of ff7 and 8 would be crazy with ps3 graphics!!!!! by far ff7 was the best story and game play out of all the final fantasy series!!

ive seen a few threads around mentioning the magical 20hr mark but it didnt take me that long to like it? though i have played all the previous ones bar 11 so i guess i knew what to expect - that said i was still abit WTF Square enix for the first couple of hours.

i found that after the 2-4hr mark once you had to do more than hit auto attack i got into the game, at about 15hrs now and lovin it.

but i think it has been the same with all of the ff's (ive played 6-12 not 11) the first couple of hours you learn how to play features/battle system etc. im sure i can remeber with the release of the previous ones alot of first timers quit before the game gets going.

hope i dont sound too fanboy:)

Hahaha. Well considering it was created with the PS3 in mind, im sure it would run the best on the PS3.

It's exactly the same other than the Xbox version has 3 discs and the PS3 is only one disc as it is blueray.

On the Xbox version you go through disc 1 and 2 in about 15 hours then its all on disc 3.

I was told it downloads the cut scenes onto the hard drive from discs 1 and 2 to make the game smoother.

Though you never actually see any downloading. I have a 360 and a PS3, like them both in different ways...

It's like a blond chick and a brunette chick, they both deliver the goods but in different ways.

Sometimes you just feel you need a blond that night but then you want some brunette after, so on and so on... :(

It's all personal taste and opinions, just have the best of both worlds I say

Yeah I know and I'm saying in a mutual way that FFXIII runs the same on both platforms.

You just get two more discs on the 360 version, there is no difference in performance.

    • There are fixes for this. In industry we use compressed air for everything. It is frequently wet, and many things cannot tolerate it. So there are various forms of driers available that you can install. The simplest option for something like this would be a dessicant drier. Much cheaper to replace some silica gel than actuator cylinders.
    • That's a solid update mate, well done at WA FOS. You may already know this, but the actuators on the paddle shift are a service item and are sadly not that reliable. As I understand it they collect water from the compressor (condensation) which then rusts the bores/pistons in the actuators. A mate of mine had no end of trouble with them in one if his circuit cars, apparently it's a 'known issue'. Buy a couple of spares at great expense to ensure you never have any problems with the ones you've got! Any clues about what the new WTAC rules might be? While faster cars are cool the Pro class arms race has got to the point where you wouldn't even bother entering without a $1m budget and even then I don't think you'd win.

You can see another picture of it here: https://www.alltranz.com.au/shop/drivetrain/automatic-transmission/RE5R01A/product/9305/ The 4 speed automatic in the GTT is Nissan corporate stuff. You can search up similar jobs done on a Frontier or Pathfinder with a RE4R01B to get an idea for what the internals are going to look like and the procedure like this:
    • Hi Chris,   long time since your post, just wondering if you have the Pinout for the v35 stereo plugs, I bought the roem nis2 harness but it doesn’t match the v35 connector. any help appreciated, I can work out the grn and power constant. But the rest might be hard. thanks Tyson
