iseekool
Hi all, Just wondering what is the normal coolant temps for hot days. The reading are based on the CONSULT box. Lately I've been in the 88 to 93 degree range, sometimes hitting 97 if the a/c is running - Usual is around 84 to 86 degress. On the last 38 degree day my coolant temp reached 103 degrees - with my a/c on in traffic. Just wondering how my car will go on this 43 degree day with the a/c running... My car is pretty much stock. (OO)SKYLINE(OO)
would not worry about it too much, it's normal for temps to go higher on hot days. Just make sure your radiator coolant is topped up and check regularly. Rekin
my temps are around 72degrees (without aircon) 72 degrees is quite cold. Isnt the efficient operating temperature around the 80 degrees? My car cycles from 82 to 95degrees depending on weather. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/303350-teh-heat/#findComment-5028538 Share on other sites

bonestorm007
Anything over 95 is no good. Best to get your radiator and cooling system checked and flushed out. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/303350-teh-heat/#findComment-5030796 Share on other sites
