Hey up for sale is my R33 S1 GTS (non turbo, 2 door)

LOCATION:

Whyalla (SA), but i'm in adelaide quite a bit

Looking to upgrade to a turbo car or get a track car. I'm not interested in a track for swaps though.

  • Heavy duty clutch
  • Catback exaust with 3" cannon exaust
  • Engine oil & oil filter changed every 5,000-7,000 km
  • Gear box oil just changed
  • Brakes fluid just changed (inc bleading of all lines all the way through)
  • 17*,***kms (mostly highway, I live in Whyalla)

Probably forgotten a lot.

I have always either garaged the car or had my car cover on it since i have owned it.

There are no problems with the car, it's still very reliable and have had no real problems since I’ve have owned it.

COST:

$7,500

I'm also open to swaps for a turbo car (preferably a R32 GTS-4 (coupe)) or a cheap daily, but show me what you have i may be intersted anyway. Willing to put up a maximum of about 5K towards a swap for the right car. Not intersted in a track car.

OTHER:

Even though the car has over 170,000Kms it's still very reliable, and I've found no problems with the engine and there are no problems that haven't been imediately fixed.

Some newer pics with the rims and of engine and interior will be up soon.

hey mate would you be interested in swapping for a honda cbr250 rr with custom black paint with blue pearl flames, polished frame, full aftermarket exhaust, and work done to the carby, unrestricted model, does not sound like a 250. real head turner

Newer pics should hopefully be up on the weekend

R33 GTS are RWD (GTS-4 and GT-R are AWD)

Will be in adelaide from the 19th-21st if anyone wants to see the car in person.

    • You are correct, the earlier the torque, the earlier things snap
    • Gents, it will be getting the MX5 Mania kit and the 2.5 will be staying where it is My query was about the 0.64 or the 0.86, whilst the 0.64 might spool a bit faster, would the 0.86 be better IRT EGT and mechanical sympathy, with only a small difference in spool And as I assume I won't need alot of boost to get to 200kw, probably around 10 psi, and with max rpm at 6500, would high EGT even really be a issue with a 0.64 I'm heading into MX5 Mania at the end of Jan to discuss the install, so any info is welcome prior to that Basically have a chat and book a time so they can throw on the turbo kit, and fit a oil cooler with a thermostat, drive in drive out of course  In other news: just finished cleaning the car inside and out, it's now all ready to get covered in bugs and dirt driving to Goulburn tomorrow to lunch,  and go for a stroll along woolondilly River with the daughter and her boy, and of course, visit my grandcats and my new grandpuppy
    • Sounds like it has an actual problem with mode select doors, or something.
    • Hope your all having a mean Xmas! If anyone happens to know any trick to using the insanely complex climate control system, I cannot get it to not be on dual zone no matter how many times I deselect it (will say it's not but both vents blow different temps). Also one side is always hot, one always cold 🤷
    • I'd be looking at the mentioned EFR kit, room to turn it up if decide on e85 (which we know you will) and be super responsive and fun on the street.
