I had to "massage" the firewall with an impact hammer but it wasn't that bad. This was the 5th swap I have done so I had a bit of a head start when it came to problem solving. It was a fun project. I built the motor from scratch. I purchased every single part of the motor in order to make sure that it wouldn't have a problem.
