Their a great starting point.

My 32 used to have the 4wd system and an NA 25.

Do they go good? Well it depends on what you want to do with it. The key to driving a 25DE quick, is never let the revs drop below 4500-5000 RPM and point to point, its not a bad little engine.

The 4WD system is great for when things get hairy. If you find yourself in a pickle, the hardest part is to resist the urge to lift off, but keep it flat, let the ATTESSA kick in, do its thing and straighten you out.

25DE's have around 100RWKW stock.

well the body is in pretty ruff shape. small rust over the wheel arch, tiny cant notice it and just 3 4 dings all over it and starches and stone chips all round so was going to fix that up and put some tanky offset wheels on it and a body kit. just really want to know the N/A mod for a rb25de for some increased power

yayyy GTS-4's!!!!!

They are pretty rare. The po po dont even know what it is.

The truith is they are hard too mod because you have too stick too the rule of thum, more fuel and air will increase power and being a NA there are not many ways too do that let alone much ways too get the power. You have too cut straight too spending more money for slight gains.

My GTS-4 has oversized pistons too 50thou for now. It was my first mod and i wanted to make sure the block was out of the way, i also recondictioned the whole block and top end but with that out the way im only 10% of the way there and gained 20kw so far for the upgrade and rebuild (sitting on 121KW at the wheels)

hahah thats what i did! goes a lot better and really shows the potential of the 4WD.

It is pretty rare, when I say gts4 ppl think its a 4door.

Will be a bit of a pickle trying to source some phat rims with a 4 stud though. But there out there. OR do a 5stud conversion (got som bits n pieces left over from mine) hint hint*.

When mine was NA i had 2.5' extractors and cat back + pod etc bolt on stuff and mid 14s -15 at wsid was bout as much i could get it to go with bolt ons to give you an idea.

a good upgrade might be a factory GTR clutch and flywheel (from early R32) i have a billet lightweight GTR flywheel and Excedy HD GTR clutch in mine, clutch grip is phenomenal (second gear clutch drop lights all 4s with fat tyres) on RB25DE+T but you pay for it with your left leg, it is brutal heavy and bitey, Ive got a mate with a 4000lB Jim berry full monty clutch, and that's light as a feather compared.

    • The nissan manual says to change coolant every 2 years. Is this still necessary if you're using coolant like Penrite or nulon which has improved over the years? It says it lasts 500,000km which seems hard to believe lol.
    • According to the Muse website, totally different material. The originals were that horrible solid foam rubber that was used for a lot of rear spoiler/flap things, like on Mitsu Galan GSRs. Heavy, and with enough compressibility/flex that any paint on them would crack fairly quickly. The Muse ones are just ABS, which is obviously similar to GTR lower front lip, etc etc. ABS is a good choice if you have the ability to tool up for it. The only thing better might be TPU-RIM or something equivalent. The TPUs were good. Plenty of flexibility (in twisting, bending, etc) but not really in compression.
    • Update 24/01/2025:    Bought a GReddy/Trust Intercooler (crossflow spec-LS) that was meant for a R33 GTST $871 AUD shipped, and a GReddy Profec boost controller $483 AUD, both brand new from Japan. Being honest, I would've thought the intercooler kit was discontinued but I guess not yet. Decided due to funds + time, I'll stick with a nistune on this stock-ish setup ( stock turbo set to probably 10-12psi ) and have it run cleaner ( suspect the 3" turbo back etc has sh*tted on my economy ) for my trip down south soon for the WSBK. Hopefully I can get it all installed and tuned by then. As for who I am getting it tuned with, I will be going with Toshi, (not hearing back from DVS so scratch that). There is also Birrong Auto but not sure if they do nistune installations and if they even tune it... Otherwise, anyone know where I can get my hands on an aluminium intake/suction pipe for an RB25DET NEO?
    • The german cars I've worked on seem to have that issue(in more than just headlights). Mostly where hot, but also just the insulation hardening and cracking in various places. Not abnormal from what ive seen.
    • According to the Muse website, similar material, but not the same. Meant to help with stopping the paint cracking. In saying that, I had genuine ones on my last grt, and never had that problem.   Could you post pics when you get them? Very much thinking of buying the Muse ones over fibreglass.
